Privacy policy
This policy covers the Ashq Consulting client portal at portal.ashqconsulting.com, where clients review videos, request edits, see their analytics and get content ideas. Ashq Consulting is responsible for your data here. Contact: ashishsajwan0110@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Your account: name, email, a password (stored only as a salted hash we can't read), and optionally a photo, bio and phone number.
- Your consent choices: when you accepted these terms, and whether you want video-update and marketing emails.
- Your work with us: footage and links you send, scripts and briefs (typed or dictated), notes, drawings, references and approvals on videos, and the edits we deliver.
- Your brand sheet: what you tell us about you, your business, your audience, your industry and competitors. Revenue figures are only seen by you, your team and Ashq.
- Instagram, if you connect it: your profile, posts and their statistics (views, reach, likes, comments, shares, saves, follower counts), and the text of your recent direct-message conversations.
- Fathom, if you connect it: titles, summaries and transcripts of your recorded calls.
- Basic activity: when you last signed in.
What we use it for
- Running the portal: your access, your videos, revisions, delivery and the emails about them.
- Making your edits and showing you how your posts perform.
- Content ideas: each night we read new DMs and call transcripts to find recurring questions, objections and beliefs, and draft video ideas from them using AI. Ideas show short quotes so you can see where they came from.
We don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it beyond the services below. Your data isn't used to train AI models, ours or anyone else's: the AI services we use don't train on data sent through their business APIs.
Your leads' messages
Connecting Instagram lets us read conversations between you and the people who message you. We use them only to draft ideas for you, never contact those people, and delete the stored text after 90 days. You're responsible for telling your audience how you handle their messages, as you would with any tool you use for your inbox.
Cookies and tracking
One essential cookie keeps you signed in. It holds no personal details and expires after 30 days or when you log out. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies or scripts, so there's nothing to consent to or opt out of.
Who processes it for us
- Cloudflare (USA/global): hosts the portal and its database, and turns dictated audio into text (the audio isn't kept).
- Google (Drive): stores video files and footage.
- Resend (USA): sends the portal's emails.
- Anthropic (USA): the AI that helps make edits and revisions and drafts content ideas.
- Meta (Instagram and Facebook): only if you connect Instagram.
- Fathom: only if you connect it; we read from your account with the key you give us.
Some of these are outside the UK and EU; they protect transfers with standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- DM conversations and call transcripts: 90 days, then deleted. Ideas drafted from them stay until you remove them.
- Instagram statistics: while Instagram is connected. Disconnecting stops new pulls.
- Instagram and Fathom access keys: stored encrypted, deleted when you disconnect.
- Your account, notes and brand sheet: while you're a client. Delete your account any time from your Profile.
- Delivered videos stay in your own Drive folder unless you ask us to remove them.
Your rights
You can see, correct, download or delete your data. Profile → Your data has a download button and a delete button. For anything else, email ashishsajwan0110@gmail.com and we'll reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your data-protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
If you remove the portal from your Facebook settings, Meta tells us and we delete your Instagram connection, statistics and stored messages automatically.
Children
The portal is for businesses and people aged 18 or over. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll ask you to accept it again the next time you sign in.
